Wild Life Habitat
Food, Water, Cover and Places to raise young is all you need to be a wild life habitat in Austin.

Wild Life Habitat
Wild Life Habitats are fun as you can watch wildlife in action from beautiful songbirds, butterflies, frogs to other interesting wildlife. Our Space provides food for butterflies and birds with our gardens, water for the at home and migrating wild life through the pond, cover for the wildlife with shrubs and trees and places to raise young wildlife with nesting boxes and nests in bigger native trees onsite.
This space offers the children to learn about:
- Eco-diversity – Children watch mutliple migratory birds and butterflies and other wildlife and enjoy the multiple of sounds in a urban setting.
- Caring – They learn about the different seasons and learn to care for the migratory birds in winter by making bird feeders and hanging them around the garden.
- Sustainable Gardening Practices – Wildlife habitat certifications encourages organic gardening, xeriscaping, mulching, composting and planting native plants which the space already offers. This teaches the children the importance of eco-friendly and budget-friendly gardening techniques.
