Exploring the garden sheds
Please join us on Saturday morning, September 20 for a special information session at the Green Classroom.
Tour the gardens, enjoy some refreshments, and learn how you might like to be involved in Becker Elementary’s outdoor garden classroom. This is a “no-commitment” event to help you decide if the program is for you. Enjoy some time in our hidden garden and learn about the volunteer opportunities that are available.
We’ll talk about garden teacher positions as well as opportunities to help with site maintenance, planning and organizing, website and technical support, and lots more!
The event takes place September 20, 9:30-11:00 am at the Green Classroom, 1701 Briar Street (across from the front of the school; gate is near the corner of Briar and Milton.)
Come as a potential volunteer or come as a Green Classroom friend. We look forward to seeing you there!
